The <sup> element is used to represent the power of something. If you want to write E=MC² then you will have to write this coding. E=MC². This will show the result that I have write before.

<sub>

The <sub> element is used to write a chemical type equation or base of log or anything.  This is use to write the basses of words. For example if you want to write Log₂ then your coding will be Log₂.
